What do I do when someone knocks on the door?

Question= If someone comes knocking, how do you respond? what should they do or not do? How can we prepare ourselves, what are things they will say to us, what should we say or do, what should we absolutely not say or do. what is a script to say? like a “firesafety plan”. We also need “no trespassing signs”, are these enforceable, or certain kinds are forceable? What would need to change to make sure they are enforceable?

Answer=

If we are talking PEA here and CPS comes knocking…the idea is to teach your people to NOT open the door.  Ask if they have a warrant….if it has been signed by a local only judge…If the name of the accuser is on the warrant or who it is…can not be anonymous ….if there is a raised seal….see this through a window maybe.  If all those things are there….get someone who fights CPS who has experience on the phone before you open the door and ask advise as to what to do from there… Video Record everything!

If they don't have the ALL above mentioned items with them and on the warrant….you ask them to leave that they are on private property. If they say they will call the police you go ahead and call the “Sheriff” yourself in hopes he will defend your rights.
